AUSTINTOWN - Julie A. Burke, 77, passed away at midnight, Friday morning, April 13, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Julie was born Aug. 24, 1940, in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of the late Alexander and Helen Duenick Novack, and came to Austintown in 2002.

Julie worked for 35 years for the U.S. Postal Service in Brooklyn, retiring in 2000.

She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Austintown. She was also a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary in Brooklyn, and she enjoyed playing bingo and swimming.

Julie leaves two daughters, Genevieve Davis of Austintown and Kristina Ingenito of Queens, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Dennis and Daniel Boseman, Kimberly Scelta, Julie Boseman, and Frank Scelta; and four great-grandchildren, Dennis Michael Boseman, Chloe Boseman, Brooklyn Boseman, and Milo Wilson.

Julie was a wonderful mother, grandma, and great-grandma, and will truly be missed all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends may call from 11 a.m to 2 p.m., Monday, April 16, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 North Meridian Road, Youngstown, where funeral services will take place at 2 p.m.
