IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joretta Mae
Balsinger
August 24, 1935 – April 4, 2025
AUSTINTOWN - Joretta Mae Balsinger, 89, peacefully passed away, Friday, April 4, 2025.
Born on August 24, 1935, in Greene County, Pennsylvania, to Earl and Anna Rose, Joretta lived a life filled with love, family, and treasured memories.
Joretta found immense joy in her grandchildren, who were the heart of her world. Her family was her greatest priority, and she was known for her independence, strong spirit, and playful charm, which always softened when surrounded by loved ones. She enjoyed traveling, sharing meals with her large circle of friends, and forming new connections wherever life took her-no conversation was too small or stranger too far.
Joretta was a lifelong and devoted member of the former Four Mile Christian Church in Austintown, where she nurtured her faith and shared her kindness with her community.
Her legacy lives on through her son, Russell (Lisa) of Lake Milton; grandchildren, Trent (Victoria) of Barberton, Tara (Anthony) of Lake Milton, and Tanner (Milena), currently stationed in Germany. She is also fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and all whose lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and her beloved daughter, Amy Jo.
Family and Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 North Meridian Road, Youngstown.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff at Antonine Village in North Jackson and Patriot Hospice of Girard, whose care, support, and love for Joretta were deeply appreciated.
Joretta will be dearly missed, but her spirit and love will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
