YOUNGSTOWN - John L. Lorenzi, 67, passed away Saturday afternoon, Jan. 23, 2021, at Ivy Woods Manor following a brief illness.

John was born Aug. 1, 1953, in Youngstown, a son of the late August and Evelyn Pantaloni Lorenzi, and he was a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley.

He was a 1971 graduate of Chaney High School and worked at South Hill Auto Body on South Avenue in Youngstown, a family business, for 25 years. He also owned and operated Pizza Joe's in Canfield from 1995 until 2006, and then he worked for Modern Builders Supply from 2008 until he retired in 2018.

John immensely enjoyed the sport of bowling, and bowled in many leagues throughout the area. He also enjoyed collecting baseball cards.

He was a former member of St. Brendan Church in Youngstown.

Mr. Lorenzi is survived by his son, Jason M. (Sarah) Lorenzi of Boardman; his daughter, Jennifer M. (Andrew) Hake of Mineral Ridge; three grandchildren, Gianna, Nico, and Augusta; and two sisters, Patty (George) Porter of Beaver, Pa. and Vicky Flick of Austintown.

Because of the current pandemic, there will be no calling hours or services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
