AUSTINTOWN - John Blashak, 73, passed away late Sunday afternoon, Nov. 3, 2019, at Caprice Health Care in North Lima following a lengthy illness.

John was born April 6, 1947, in New Castle, Pa., and was a son of the late Stanley and Anna Kubik Blashak.

He graduated from high school in New Castle, and attended college for a time. He later lived in Austintown for over 20 years.

Mr. Blashak worked as a machine operator, and then as a realtor with Howard Hanna for 20 years.

He was of the Catholic faith.

John leaves no known survivors. An infant brother, Paul Blashak, is deceased.

Per Mr. Blashak's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.

Interment will take place at a later date and will be at Greenwood Cemetery in New Castle.
