AUSTINTOWN - Jo Ann C. Kambic, 89, died Sunday, April 20, 2025, at Austintown Health Care Center.

Jo Ann was born Nov. 28, 1935, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Mary Brosky Cina and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1954 graduate of Chaney High School and worked as a coil maker at General Electric for 18 years before retiring. She was a member of St. Brendan Church and enjoyed cooking and baking for her loved ones.

Jo Ann is survived by her daughter, Francine M. Kambic of Alpharetta, GA; her sister, Rosalie (Paul) Angelot of Austintown; nieces, Nicole (Leo) Puhalla of Austintown and Julie Angelot of Norristown, PA.; her great nephew, Leo; and her great niece, Olivia.

Her husband of 53 years, Frank M. Kambic, whom she married February 21, 1963, died August 3, 2016.

Per Jo Ann's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
