Jeanette Fairchild

YOUNGSTOWN – Jeanette Fairchild, 93, passed away peacefully Monday afternoon, Nov. 2, 2026, at Oasis Nursing Home.

Jeanette was born Nov. 25, 1932, in Trenton, New Jersey, a daughter of the late Simon and Esther Letwin, and lived in the Mahoning Valley for most of her life.

Jeanette spent many years traveling with her husband, George, during his service with the United States Air Force. Throughout her life, she cherished the time she spent with her family.

Jeanette leaves her daughter, Debra Fusco; her grandson, Alexander (Olivia) Fusco; and her great-granddaughter, Anna.

Her husband, George Fairchild, whom she married Nov. 2, 1955, passed away in October 2005. Jeanette was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Charles Fusco; her sister, Rhoda; and her brother, Irving.

There are no calling hours or services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
