AUSTINTOWN - Janet Hruska, 81, passed away Sunday morning, June 24, 2018, at Guardian Health Care in Youngstown following an extended illness.

Janet was born Feb. 4, 1937, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Andrew and Julia Hruska, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School, and attended college for a bit. She held various jobs in the area, her last being with Office Max.

Janet was a member of the former Emmanuel Lutheran Church.

Her mother passed away Jan. 11, 1946, when Janet was a young girl. Her father passed away in February of 1975. Her stepmother, Beatrice Hruska, is also deceased.

There will be no services or calling hours. Janet will be interred next to her parents in Tod Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
