AUSTINTOWN – James A. Senvisky, 79, passed away peacefully, Friday, April 18, 2025, at Aventura at Humility House surrounded by the love of his family.
James was born Feb. 19, 1946, in Youngstown, a son of the late Albert and Mildred Gleydura Senvisky, and was a lifelong Mahoning Valley resident.
He was a 1964 graduate of Hubbard High School and attended Youngstown State University, earning an associate degree in accounting. He also completed trade school for autobody repair.
Jim worked at Stiver Chevrolet/ Oldsmobile in Hubbard for many years. He later worked for NABISCO and Vinylume, from where he retired.
Mr. Senvisky was a member of St. Joseph Church in Austintown.
He is survived by his three children, James J. (Shannon) Senvisky of Poland, Jason J. Senvisky of Austintown and Jennifer L. (Eli) Mangano of Austintown; four grandchildren, Kayla Kusky, Dakota Senvisky, Ava Kusky and Collin Senvisky; a great-grandchild, Giovanna and his sister, Patricia Murphy of Hubbard.
His wife of 45 years, Joan Dancak Senvisky, whom he married October 4, 1969, died November 29, 2014.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025, at St. Joseph Church 4545 New Rd., Austintown.
Private interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, where Jim will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Joan.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
