GIRARD – James P. McFalls, 62, passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon, Oct. 31, 2015, at Liberty Health Care Center.
James was born March 28, 1953, in Youngstown, a son of the late James and Ida Isoldi McFalls, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a 1971 graduate of Liberty High School, and joined the U.S. Air Force after graduation.
Mr. McFalls worked at Y&N Railroad, and later went to work at Youngstown Kenworth for 28 years.
He enjoyed the railroad and trucking industries and he also enjoyed listening to music.
Jim was a member of St. Rose Church in Girard.
His wife of 25 years, Deborah Chamberlain McFalls, whom he married June 11, 1990, passed away June 28, 2015.
Jim leaves a brother, William McFalls of Bristolville; a sister, Margaret (Pat) Byrne of Girard; and eight nieces and nephews, Lee (Jenna) Evans III, Jamie Evans, Tara (Ben) Barnard, Joey McFalls, James McFalls, Jay McFalls, Nicole Byrne, and Patrick Byrne.
Besides his wife, a sister, Florence "Pinky" Evans, preceded him in death.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, at Kinnick Funeral Home, McClurkin Memorial Chapel, 222 S. State St., Girard, where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m., with the Rev. Stephen Popovich officiating.
Interment will take place at Girard Union Cemetery.
Jim's family would like to thank Fr. Popovich for his friendship and for the support given to Jim.
