AUSTINTOWN - Jacques Prudent, 85, passed away early Wednesday morning, Dec. 16, 2015, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown following an extended illness.

Jacques was born Sept. 11, 1930, in France, where he was educated and served in the French Army with the Allied Forces after World War II. He subsequently came to America, and lived in Youngstown for several years.

Jacques was of the Catholic faith. A brother and sister preceded him in death.

Private graveside services were held on Dec. 23, 2015, at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
