BEREA - Helen Iannarelli Schwellinger, 90, formerly of Austintown, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, Nov. 30, 2015, at Holy Family Hospice in Parma.
Helen was born May 3, 1925, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Peter and Regina DeCharo Nerone, and lived in the Youngstown area until four years ago.
She was a graduate of East High School and was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Helen was a member of St. Joseph Church in Austintown, where she was a member of the Footprints Club and the Christian Mothers' Club.
Her first husband, Benjamin J. Iannarelli, whom she married May 23, 1946, passed away June 4, 1981. Her second husband, Antone "Tony" Schwellinger, whom she married March 15, 1996, passed away Oct. 15, 2009.
Helen leaves her son, Benjamin A. (Lisa) Iannarelli of North Royalton; her daughter, Regina L. O'Hara of Austin, Texas; two grandchildren, Shannon O'Hara (John) Boon and Jamie O'Hara (George) Kinslow; and two great-grandchildren, Iris Boon and Adley Kinslow.
Besides her husbands, a grandson, Benjamin W. Iannarelli; two sisters, Mary DeMichael and Antoinette Porrazzo; three brothers, Samuel, Albert, and Alfred Nerone; and a son-in-law, Jim O'Hara, preceded her in death.
Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, Dec. 4, at St. Joseph Church, 4545 New Road, Austintown, where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
