AUSTINTOWN - Helen Gorosics, 67, formerly of Liberty Township, passed away Tuesday afternoon, January 9, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Helen was born May 17, 1956, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Mike Gorosics and Eva Braunstein Gorosics, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1974 graduate of Liberty High School and worked at K-Mart, WalMart and Target.

Helen was a member of the former Immaculate Conception Church. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and bowling.

Helen is survived by her brother, John Gorosics, Sr.; three nephews, John (Dawn) Gorosics, Jr., Christopher Gorosics and Michael Gorosics; three great-nieces, Jordan Gorosics and twins, Adrianna and Nicole Gorosics; her cousin, Linda Braunstein, with whom she was very close and many extended family members.

She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her parents, her sister-in-law, Kristen Gorosics, and a nephew, Greg Gorosics preceded Helen in death.

Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Kinnick Funeral Home 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
