Obituary
CANFIELD – Glenda J. Phipps, 78, passed away, Tuesday afternoon, January 3, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after a brief illness.
Glenda who was affectionately known as "Jade", was born October 6, 1944, in Erie, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Melford and Pauline Rudler, and came to the Youngstown area in the 1960's.
Jade was a devout Christian.
She worked as a care giver for various local families for many years.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Tracy (Rob) DelSignore of Canfield; her son, Dennis (Karla) Phipps of Jacksonville, FL; four grandsons, Matthew, Kaleb, Charles, and Jack; three sisters, Debbie (Thomas) Myers of Knox, PA., Victoria (Tom) Voght of NV., Colleen Morrissey of Erie, and a brother, Dan (Dannette) Rudler of Austintown.
Two sisters, Sandra Elliott and Judy Morrissey and a brother, Gary "Bud" Rudler preceded Jade in death.
Per Jade's request there are no services or calling hours.
Interment will take place at Green Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date.
