George was born May 7, 1937, in Youngstown, a son of the late John and Anna Mueller Klein. A lifelong resident of the area, he graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 1954 and went on to work as a millwright with Local 1871 for many years. Later, George worked for Packard Electric in Warren, retiring in 1999 after a fulfilling career.
