AUSTINTOWN – Frederick J. Hingel, 69, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Hospice House.

Fred was born August 25, 1953, in Youngstown, the son of the late Frederick C. Hingel and Geraldine Woodworth Hingel, and was a lifelong area resident.

He was a 1971 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and later attended Youngstown State University where he earned a bachelor's degree.

Fred worked as an insurance salesman for New Dominion Insurance.

Mr. Hingel leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 43 years, Kim M. Krill Hingel, whom he married August 4, 1979. His son, Brandon F. Hingel of Canfield and his daughter Brianne L. (Edward) Wolf of Banner Elk, N.C.; four grandchildren, and his mother in law, Lois Krill of Youngstown.

At Fred's request, there will be no calling hours or services.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
