YOUNGSTOWN - Frank Godoy, 48, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, March 30, 2018, at his home.

Frank was born Dec.14, 1969, in Elizabeth, New Jersey, a son of Efrain and Nereida Godoy, and came to Youngstown as a child with his family.

He attended East High School and he was of the Catholic faith.

Frank leaves to cherish his memory a son, Alexander Godoy of Boardman; a granddaughter, Aaliyah Godoy; his mother, Nereida, with whom he made his home; three brothers, Luis (April) Echevarria of New Jersey, Carlos (Dianet) Godoy of Austintown, and Jose (Gloria B.) Godoy of Austintown; his grandmother, Delfina Godoy of Youngstown; nieces and nephews, Amber (Ryan) Karl, Nicole Echevarria, Ali Echevarria, Xavier (Angela) Godoy, Adriana Godoy, Nicholas Godoy, Xavier Bonzar, Annalisa Echevarria, and Harry Echevarria, Jr.; two great-nieces; and a great-nephew.

His father, Efrain; a sister, Marisol Godoy; a brother, Harry Echevarria; and grandparents, Anna and Juan Rodriguez, and Nicholas Godoy, are deceased.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, April 6, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where funeral services will take place at 6:30 p.m.

Due to Frank's sudden passing, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help Frank's family with final expenses.
