AUSTINTOWN - Frances L. Frederick, 76, departed this life Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Frances was born March 14, 1948, in Warren, the daughter of the late Calvin and Lodella Barshney Lockney. She was raised in Trumbull County and was a proud graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School. Frances dedicated her life to raising and caring for her family, a role she embraced wholeheartedly.

She was a member of Holy Apostles Parish and a also a member of the former Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church. Frances had a passion for arts and crafts, including needlepoint, crocheting, and coloring. She also loved cooking and delighted in creating meals for her loved ones. Above all, she cherished the moments she spent with her family, always putting them first.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Tim) Shearer of Warren; her son, Michael Frederick with whom she shared her home; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Kenneth, Donald and James Lockney and many extended family members.

Her husband, Jerry B. Frederick, whom she married July 14, 1972, died March 10, 1991. A daughter, Crystal Frederick and an son, John Frederick also preceded Frances in death.

A Celebration of Life Service will take place at a later date.
