AUSTINTOWN – Florence A. Bevilacqua, 95, passed away Sunday, Nov. 1, 2026, at Briarfield Manor after a long and fulfilling life.
Florence was born Oct. 4, 1931, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Anthony and Filomena Gavazzo Marzo, and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a graduate of The Rayen School and worked at the Mahoning County Courthouse and for Dr. Raymond Cataline for many years. Above all, Florence devoted her life to raising and caring for her family.
She was a member of St. Blaise Parish, Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and the American Business Women’s Association. Florence enjoyed bowling, visiting Lake Erie and Geneva-on-the-Lake, and was an avid reader. Most of all, she treasured the time she spent with her family and the many special memories they created together.
Florence came from a large and loving family, and the relationships she shared with her siblings held a special place in her heart. She was especially close to her sister Mary, who helped raise her and was more like a mother to her. Florence also shared a special bond with her beloved nieces, Frances and Joanne. Her love for her family was evident throughout her life.
Florence leaves to forever cherish her memory her two daughters, Karen Marian of Austintown and Lisa Cotto (Rafael) of Canfield; four grandchildren, Joseph Marian, Alisha Boykin, Antonio Cotto and Giovanni Cotto; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her beloved granddaughter, Jillian Marian; her six siblings, Nick, Elizabeth, Sam, Frank, Tony and Mary; and her two beloved nieces, Frances and Joanne.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2026, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where a celebration of Florence's life will follow at 3 p.m.
Florence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, but the love she shared, the laughter she brought and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of her family and friends forever. Florence's family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to all those whose kindness, care and companionship helped make the final years of her life a little brighter.
