AUSTINTOWN - Evelyn Rose "Evie" Ciccone, 76, passed away Saturday morning, February 3, 2024, at her home following a lengthy illness.

Evelyn was born August 5, 1947, in New Castle, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Lucy Print Chill and came to the Youngstown area in her 30s.

Evie was a graduate of New Castle High School and subsequently graduated from Allegheny Community College. Evie worked as a bank manager with Equibank for 12 years, retiring in 1993. She also worked in accounting.

She was a self-ordained minister to those in need and was very active with her husband and son in the prison ministry visiting many prisons throughout the state.

Evie leaves to forever cherish her memory, her husband of 38 years, Anthony Ciccone, whom she married May 2, 1985; her son, Zechariah Ciccone at home; two sisters, Cathy (Paul) Milligan of Liberty Township and Chris (Jeff) Fisher of Niles; three brothers, Tom (Pat) Chill of Warren, Regis (Angie) Chill of Girard and Marty (Mindee) Chill of Austintown and many extended family members.

She will be sorely missed by her friends, family, and anyone she encountered throughout her life.

Three sisters, Susan Madden, Mary Jane Jermackowicz and Rita Letourneau and three brothers, Richard, William, and David Chill preceded Evie in death.

Family and friends may gather from 12 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2024, for a celebration of Evie's life at Bethel Assembly of God 3807 Mahoning Ave., Austintown

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
