Obituary

BOARDMAN - Donna Lynn Talley, 68, peacefully departed this life, Monday morning, February 26, 2024, following an extended illness.

Donna was born November 16, 1955, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Joseph and Geraldine Walker Talley.  She spent her formative years in Pittsburgh before eventually making her home in the Youngstown area.

A woman of unwavering faith, Donna was a devout Christian who found solace and strength in her relationship with Jesus. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life, providing her with comfort and assurance, especially during her most challenging times.

She found joy in the music of Prince, with a particular fondness for his iconic song "Purple Rain." Her love for music was accompanied by a talent for artistry, as she was an accomplished artist who delighted in creating beautiful drawings. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her beloved cats, sharing a special bond with these furry companions.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Talley of upstate New York; two grandchildren, Aiyana Lynn Talley and Sofia Ann Impellizzeri; her three brothers, Melvin J. (Mary) Talley Sr., Kevin Talley, Daryl Talley Kirby; three sisters, Winifred Goshay, Deborah McCorkle and Angela Talley; a sister-in-law, Saundra Talley and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of Donna's life at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024, at Kinnick Funeral Home 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
