YOUNGSTOWN - Donna M. Sarno, 69, passed away Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at Oasis Care Center following an extended illness.

Donna was born January 15, 1955, Donna was the cherished daughter of the late Adam and Mildred Tillinger. She grew up in Boardman, where she graduated from Boardman High School.

Donna was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. She worked for several years as a housekeeper at the Holiday Inn and later as a clerk at Meridian Services. Beyond her professional life, Donna found joy in simple pleasures: gardening, cooking, and lending a helping hand to others. Her greatest love, however, was for her family, and she especially treasured the moments spent with her daughter and grandchildren.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Christina Sarno of Youngstown; her four grandchildren, Marissa, Jessica, Juliuana and Ryleigh; her brother, John Tillinger of Texas, and two step-children, Anna Rodriquez and Dominic Sarno.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, Dominic Sarno.

Private services were held to honor her life, in accordance with her wishes.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
