AUSTINTOWN - Dolores E. "Dee" Grosik, 87, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025, at her home.

Dolores was born May 9, 1937, in Homestead, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late William and Ann Cikoski Ulevich. She moved to the Youngstown area in the early 1960s and made it her lifelong home.

A 1955 graduate of Munhall High School in Munhall, Pennsylvania, Dee worked for Pennsylvania Bell and Strouss' Department Store before becoming an executive secretary at the University of Pittsburgh. After relocating to Ohio, she attended Youngstown State University and took adult education classes at the Mahoning County Joint Vocational School.

Dee was a member of St. Michael Orthodox Church in Youngstown. She enjoyed bowling, sewing, cooking, and gardening, and was active in both a garden club and bowling league. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and especially loved family vacations.

She will always be remembered as a fun-loving grandmother by those who knew and loved her.

Dee is survived by her two daughters, Lisa A. Grosik of Youngstown and Lora M. Grosik of Austintown; one grandson, who was very dear to her heart, and affectionately called her "Grandee",  Michael J. Grosik-Flora of Austintown; two brothers, William Ulevich of Easton, MD., and Robert (Barbara) Ulevich of Palm City, Fla; and many extended family members.

Her husband, Stephen J. Grosik, whom she married July 13, 1957, died May 30, 1986. A sister, Lois Smith also preceded Dee in death.

Family and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Kinnick Funeral Home 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where a funeral service will take place at 1 p.m.

Interment will follow at Tod Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown.
