AUSTINTOWN - de Lee A. Kidd, 68, passed away peacefully in her sleep, Friday, May 2, 2025, in the comfort of her home.

de Lee was born December 23, 1956, in Corry, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Jean Leek and lived in the Mahoning Valley most of her life.

She was a 1975 graduate of Chaney High School and worked at Lear Manufacturing for many years before retiring in 2009. de Lee also served as a union leader for many years, advocating for her coworkers with passion and dedication.

Known for her creative spirit, de Lee enjoyed baking, making chocolates, crafting, and collecting antiques. She also loved watching comedy shows and cherished time spent with her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Ian (Leslie) Kidd of Youngstown; her grandchildren, Alex and Eva; her great-grandchildren, Kayden, Emma, Grace, and Nixon; her brother, Randy (Barbara) Combs of Maryland; her sister, Susan Ayers of Corry, Pennsylvania; and many extended family members.

Her husband of 34 years, Gerald A. "Jerry" Kidd, whom she married December 28, 1974, died June 5, 2009.

Family and friends may gather to pay respects from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, 2025, at Kinnick Funeral Home 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where a memorial service will take place at 2 p.m.
