YOUNGSTOWN - Curtis Edward "Ed" Gibbs Jr., 67, formerly of Warren, passed away Tuesday morning, July 22, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Boardman, following a brief illness.

Ed was born June 26, 1958, in Warren, a son of the late Curtis E. Gibbs Sr. and Arlene Armstrong Gibbs, and was a lifelong area resident.

He was a graduate of Warren Harding High School and owned and operated Gibbs Delivery Service for most of his life before working as a truck driver for Service Guide, from where he retired in 2019.

Ed had been a member of the Buckeye Van Association since the age of 18. Known for his sense of humor and as a bit of a jokester, Ed especially enjoyed Halloween and took great pride in cheering on his grandchildren. Most of all, he cherished time spent with his family and friends.
