MCDONALD - Crystal M. Gibson, 39, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Crystal was born March 23, 1985, in Alliance, the daughter of Roy Gibson and Theresa McFadden Gibson and came to the area after high school.

A graduate of Alliance High School, Crystal worked at Dollar General and Dunkin Donuts before dedicating her life to raising her four beloved boys. She found immense joy in being a mother, and her sons were the center of her world. Crystal also enjoyed reading, arts and crafts, and was an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Her love for dolphins was well known, and she had a treasured collection of dolphin figurines.

Crystal leaves behind her four sons, William Lipscomb Jr., Jack Lipscomb, John Lipscomb, and Wyatt Lipscomb, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She is also survived by her father, Roy Gibson of Alliance; her brother, Roy Gibson II of Alliance; her mother-in-law, Joyce Lipscomb of Girard; her father-in-law, John Lipscomb of Pennsylvania; her grandmother, Nancy Groves; her sister-in-law, Kayla Lipscomb; her brother-in-law, Christopher Lipscomb; her aunt, Sandy "Kay" Vince and her husband Francis; her uncle, Roger Lipscomb and his wife Sis; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who loved her dearly.

Crystal was preceded in death by her mother, Theresa, and her fiancé, William Lipscomb.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 222 S. State St., Girard, where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m.

In light of Crystal's unexpected passing, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Kinnick Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
