YOUNGSTOWN – Cristino Pagan Negron, 89, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Maplecrest Nursing Home in Struthers.
Cristino was born August 6, 1935, in Puerto Rico, a son of the late Francisco Pagan and Maria DeLaPaz Negron. Fifty years ago, he came to the United States, settling in Youngstown, where he built a life rooted in hard work, family, and community.
Cristino dedicated many years of his life to Gary Crim Construction before retiring. Beyond work, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially in the company of his beloved family. Whether gathered for celebrations or sharing everyday moments, Cristino's love for his family was evident to all who knew him.
He is survived by his three children, Carmen Pagan of Chicago, Noemi (Ismael) Alvarez of Youngstown and Eduardo Pagan of Youngstown; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three siblings, Gladys Rodriguez of Youngstown, Ida Rivera of Chicago and Edelmiro Pagan of Warren.
Cristino was preceded in death by several siblings, whose memories he always carried with him.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday December 2, 2024, at Kinnick Funeral Home 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m.
Cristino will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
