NORTH LIMA - Clara J. Polenni, 93, formerly of Boardman, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, Feb. 20, 2016, at Caprice Health Care Center, following a long and fulfilling life.

Clara was born July 22, 1922, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Louis and Clara Kovach Kish, and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Polenni was a graduate of Chaney High School, and was a homemaker and a volunteer healthcare aide.

She was a member of the American Legion, Post No. 15, in Poland, belonging to the Ladies' Auxiliary.

Clara devoted her life to caring for others. Her grandson, Steven, was her pride and joy.

She leaves her daughter, Claire M. (Robert) Jones of Boardman; and her beloved grandson, Steven Weeden of Boardman.

Clara's husband, Steve Polenni, whom she married June 10, 1941, passed away April 30, 1985. A son, Steve J. Polenni, passed away Dec. 22, 2004. Five brothers, Louis, Joseph, Andrew, John, and Julius Kish, are also deceased.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 23, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where funeral services will follow at 7 p.m.

Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Austintown.
