AUSTINTOWN - Carole Ann Miller, 82, formerly of North Jackson, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, Aug. 15, 2020, at Briarfield at Ashley Place.

Carole was born May 14, 1937, in McKeesport, Pa., a daughter of the late Albin and Grace Anderson, and moved to the Mahoning Valley with her family as a child.

She was a graduate of South High School and worked for at the General Electric Mazda Lamp Plant in her younger days. She subsequently worked for Packard Electric in Warren, from where she retired.

She was of the Christian faith, and enjoyed shopping and collecting purses.

Carole leaves three children, Theresa Halatek of Ohio, Robert Halatek of Youngstown, an d Daniel (Kim) Halatek of Struthers; four grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; six sisters, Alice, Chris, Debbie, Lolly, Robin, and Tina; and two brothers, Paul and Danny.

There are no public calling hours, and private family services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
