NORTH LIMA - Carol Brightwell, 76, formerly of Warren,  passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Willow Woods in North Lima.

Carol was born December 10, 1947, in Washington, D.C., a daughter of the late James and Ida Lacy Ivy. Carol moved to Ohio in the early 1960's, settling in Trumbull County and was a graduate of Warren G. Harding High School.

She is survived by her two sons, Aaron and Darren Brightwell; two brothers, Stanhouse "Boo" Ivy and Herschel Ivy; two sisters, Eleanor and Emily and many nieces and nephews and extended family members.

Brothers, Howard Ivy and Louis Ivy and sisters, Marietta, Martha, Anna Mae and Florence preceded Carol in death.

There are no calling hours or services.

Carol was laid to rest on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Oakwood Cemetery in Warren with her mother.
