CANFIELD - Carl A. "Sonny" Liscic Jr., 76, loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018.

Carl was born April 5, 1942, in Youngstown, a son of the late Carl A. Sr. and Jean Stanish Liscic, and was a lifelong area resident.

Sonny was a 1960 graduate of Ursuline High School, and was the owner/operator of Powerhouse Equipment in Cornersburg and in Youngstown for 35 years. Previous to owning Powerhouse, Carl drove a truck for Interstate Motor Freight.

Mr. Liscic leaves his wife of nearly 53 years, Rosemary Lucas Liscic, whom he married Oct. 2, 1965; two sons, Sean (Pauline) Liscic of Austintown and Jeff Liscic of Youngstown; his daughter, Michelle (Edward) Sutak of Struthers; and five grandchildren, Eddie, Travis, Joshua, Christopher, and Amanda.

Sonny's family will deeply miss him and will love him forever.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Smith and a brother, Bill Liscic.

Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 26, at St. Christine Church on S. Schenley Avenue in Youngstown, where a Memorial Mass will follow at 11 a.m.

Committal services will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
