POLAND - Bryan A. Gerbasi, 49, passed away peacefully, Saturday evening, March 8, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital surrounded by the love of his family.

Bryan was born June 9, 1975, in Sharon, Pennsylvania, a beloved son of Augustine Gerbasi and Mary Milano Gerbasi. He spent his early years growing up in Sharon and graduated from Sharon High School in 1993. Following his passion for healthcare, Bryan attended the Sharon Regional School of Nursing, where he became a dedicated registered nurse.

Throughout his career, Bryan served in several hospitals across the region. He made a significant impact at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, Ohio, where he worked as the director of cardiology and general surgery offices, also managing the nursing staff with dedication and care.

Outside of his professional life, Bryan was an avid sports enthusiast and an enthusiastic collector of sports cards and memorabilia. He proudly owned and operated Supe's Sports Cards in Poland, where he found immense joy in connecting with fellow collectors and sports fans. Bryan's passion extended to hosting card shows at local malls, where he eagerly shared his expertise and excitement for all things sports-related. At home, he maintained an impressive man cave filled with cherished memorabilia, reflecting his unwavering loyalty to the Cleveland Browns and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Bryan also had a special place in his heart for Labrador Retrievers, and his beloved dog Brutus was a constant companion. He enjoyed weekly poker games with friends, sports betting, and was a devoted WWE Wrestling fan, embracing the camaraderie these pastimes brought him.

Bryan is survived by his wife of 20 years, Dr. Jennifer Thomas Gerbasi, whom he married January 8, 2005; his mother, Mary Gerbasi of New Castle; his brother, John Gerbasi of Brookfield; his niece, Briahna; his father and mother in law, Vince and Rosemary Thomas of Austintown; his brother-in-law, Craig Thomas of Austintown; his niece, Jade Thomas of Austintown and his beloved dog, Brutus.

Bryan was preceded in death by his father, Augustine Gerbasi.

Per Bryan's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. A celebration of Bryan's life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to gather and honor his memory.

Bryan's warmth, dedication, and vibrant personality will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
