Bonnie S. Kosta

LAKE MILTON — Bonnie S. Kosta, 68, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, June 27, 2026, at her home.

Bonnie was born April 16, 1958, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Jerome and Olga Duda Starr, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1976 graduate of Ursuline High School and worked for many years at the family business, Holly Beverage, and later at Seven-Up.

Bonnie had a special love for her dogs, Louie and Joey. She enjoyed boating and spending time on Lake Milton with her family and friends, and in her younger years loved spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Bonnie leaves to forever cherish her memory her siblings, William (Kathi) Starr of Peoria, Arizona, and Robert (Michelle) Starr of Eden Prairie, Minnesota; her partner, David Lucas; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Kosta; her sister, Beverly Yanni; her brother, Brian Starr; brother-in-law Anthony Yanni; sister-in-law Patricia Starr; and nephews Anthony Yanni and Jerad Starr.

Family and friends may gather to pay their respects from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 30, 2026, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where a memorial service will take place at 6:30 p.m.
