YOUNGSTOWN — Bonnie S. Amrich, 80, of Youngstown's West Side, passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, Sept. 10, 2025, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by the love of her husband.
Bonnie was born March 18, 1945, in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late John and Minnie Bagley Stanley. She came to the Youngstown area as a child and made it her lifelong home.
A devoted homemaker, Bonnie found joy in caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home. She was a kindhearted, generous woman who touched many lives with her gentle spirit. Bonnie loved reading and had a special fondness for collecting teddy bears, treasures that brought her comfort and joy.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Bruce Amrich, whom she married June 22, 1985, at the Chapel of the Friendly Bells; her two sons, Joe and John; her siblings, Carol (John) Patek of Austintown, Shirley (Chris) Plevniak of Liberty Township, Terry Stanley, Larry Stanley, and Nellie Meadows of Boardman; her brothers-in-law, Jim (Carol) Amrich, Barry Amrich and Brad (Patti) Amrich; as well as several nieces, nephews, and many extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her siblings, R.L. Stanley, J.C. Stanley, Mamie Stanley, Jimmy Stanley, Kathy Stanley, and Jerry Stanley.
Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025, at Struthers Church of Christ, 5775 Poland Struthers Road, Youngstown, where a funeral service will follow at 11 a.m.
Interment will take place at Belmont Park Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
