NORTH JACKSON - Bobby G. Thomas, 84, passed away Friday evening, April 19, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.

Bobby was born Feb. 23, 1935, in Sale Creek, Tenn., a son of the late Clinton Levoy and Nella Mae Price Thomas, and came to Youngstown in December of 1969.

Bobby worked for General Motors at the Lordstown Plant for 30 years.

Mr. Thomas enjoyed horse racing and he trained thoroughbred horses. Bobby loved listening to country music, and he especially enjoyed George Jones.

He leaves his wife, Martha Kay Davis Thomas, whom he married in 1953; two daughters, Regina (John) Tumbri of Canfield and Charlotte Thomas of Florida; two grandchildren, Heather Jean (Lonnie) Clayton and Leanne Cromer; two great-grandchildren, Adam Wells and Paige Clendenin; and many extended family members.

Per Bobby's wishes, there will be no calling hours.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown.
