YOUNGSTOWN - Barbara P. DeFrank, 73, passed away early Tuesday morning, Jan. 28, 2020, at her home at Heritage Manor following a lengthy illness.

Barbara was born Dec. 23, 1946, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Paul and Jessie Acri Hayes, and lived her life in this area.

She graduated from East High School in 1961, and held various jobs throughout her life.

Barbara leaves two nieces, April Hayes and Kelly Cannon, both of Seabrook, Texas; her half-brother, Billy (Monica) Kruest of Houston; three great-nephews; a great-niece; and several extended family members.

A brother, Michael Hayes, is deceased.

Per Barbara's wishes, there will be no services or calling hours.

Arrangements were entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
