AUSTINTOWN - Atty. Paul G. Kinnick, 70, passed away Thursday afternoon, Feb. 28, 2019, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Paul was born July 28, 1948, in Youngstown, the only child of the late Martin and Anna Gergel Kinnick, and he lived most of his life in this area.

He was a 1966 graduate of Austintown Fitch High School and graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Paul later earned a masters degree in business from Baldwin-Wallace in Berea, and then earned a juris doctorate degree from Akron Law School.

Paul worked for Essex Corporation in Cleveland, for Texas Instruments in Michigan, and for the Portage County Courts. He also maintained a private law practice.

Paul was a member of the National Rifle Association.

His beloved wife, Deborah Elaine Felger Kinnick, whom he married Dec. 27, 1996, passed away Jan. 22, 2016.

Mr. Kinnick leaves several cousins and extended family members.

Private graveside services were held on March 8 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Boardman, where Paul was laid to rest next to his wife.

Arrangements were entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown.
