AUSTINTOWN – Antoinette C. Krut, 87, passed away at her daughter's home Saturday afternoon, Sept. 15, 2018, after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Antoinette, who was known affectionately as "Mamu" and "Toni," was born Jan. 16, 1931, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Jennie Dorenzio Toto, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a graduate of East High School and had owned and operated with her husband, Walter, the Golfer's Delight Restaurant at the Mill Creek Park Golf Course, and Papa's Sports Bar on Poland Avenue in Youngstown.

Toni had battled cancer eight times since the age of 40, showing that despite the fact that "cancer sucks," one can still survive and live a fruitful, happy, and active life. For over 50 years, she bowled in the Try Hard League and golfed in the Femme Bombers Golf League. She loved watching the Cleveland Indians and the Cavaliers, and she enjoyed making ceramics. Also a loving and beloved wife, mother, and homemaker, Antoinette loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Krut attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Austintown.

Her beloved husband of 64 years, Walter "Loggo" Krut, whom she married June 30, 1951, passed away Dec. 3, 2015.

Mrs. Krut leaves two daughters, Debbie (Robert) Stouffer of Lowellville and Diana Krut of Marshall, Va.; two grandchildren, Steven (Sarah) Pinciaro and Gina Stouffer (fiancé Michael Mangine); two great-grandchildren, Landen and Aleena; a sister, Ann Fabian of Henderson Nev.; many nieces and nephews; and many extended family members.

Mamu will truly and sadly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Besides her husband, a sister, Josephine Dodson, preceded Toni in death.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20, at Kinnick Funeral Home 477 N. Meridian Rd. Youngstown.

Family and friends may also gather from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, Sept. 21, at the funeral home, where funeral services will take place at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, Toni's family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The Hope Center for Cancer Care, 835 Southwestern Run, Youngstown, OH 44514.
