Obituary

YOUNGSTOWN - Anthony "Tony" Mickler, 56, passed away at his home of natural causes.

Anthony was born March 14, 1960, in Youngstown, the son of the late Jerome and Eleanor Andres Mickler. He was raised in Youngstown, and lived in Cleveland and Akron for 20 years, before returning to Youngstown in 1999.

He was a graduate of St. Stanislaus Elementary School and Volney Rogers Junior High School, and was a 1978 graduate of Chaney High School.

Tony also graduated from the United Electronics Institute in Akron, and worked for the Ricoh Company, based in Cleveland, for 20 years before retiring on disability about 15 years ago.

He enjoyed camping, fishing, and being outdoors.

Tony leaves his son, Cory S. Mickler of Austintown; a brother, Mark Mickler of Youngstown; his former wife, Suzy Mickler of Mineral Ridge; and many extended family members.

Tony will be truly and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Besides his parents, a sister-in-law, Jeanette Mickler, preceded Tony in death.

Family and friends may gather from 12:30 to 1 p.m., Friday, Nov. 11, at St. Christine Church on South Schenley Avenue in Youngstown, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m., officiated by Tony's cousin and godfather, Rev. Jeffrey Mickler.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
