Anna Marie Pizor-Barricella

AUSTINTOWN — Anna Marie Pizor-Barricella, 76, passed away Wednesday evening, Sept. 2, 2026, at Austintown Health Care Center.

Anna was born Nov. 8, 1949, in Warren, a daughter of the late George and Mary Ann Papp Bartish, and was a lifelong Mahoning Valley resident.

She was a graduate of Howland High School and attended Kent State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education, graduating magna cum laude.

Anna worked as a teacher for Head Start for many years and later became director of the Head Start program for Mahoning and Trumbull counties, from which she retired.

Anna will be sadly missed by her two children and her loving family.

A celebration of Anna’s life will be held in the spring.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
