AUSTINTOWN - Ann Datko, 97, passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016, at her home with her family by her side, following a long and fulfilling life.

Ann was born May 5, 1919, in Youngstown, a daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Ragan Stash, was raised on Youngstown's west side, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a homemaker who dedicated her adult life to raising and caring for her family.

Mrs. Datko was a member of St. Michael Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church in Youngstown.

Ann liked bingo, horseback riding, working crossword puzzles, and was a fan of the Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Steelers. Most of all, Ann enjoyed spending time with her family.

Ann leaves two grandchildren, Sharon (William) Woodall of Vienna and John (Missy) David of Austintown; six great-grandchildren, Helena, Kevin, Dylan, Billy, JoJo, and Molly Ann; and a son-in-law, John J. David of Cortland.

Her husband of 54 years, Joseph J. Datko, whom she married Nov. 29, 1944, passed away Sept. 25, 1999. A daughter, JoAnn David, passed away Sept. 4, 2003. A sister, Elizabeth Salaggi, and four brothers, Andrew, John, Michael, and George Stash, also preceded her in death.

Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Aug. 3, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown. Funeral services will begin at noon, Wednesday, at the funeral home, and will continue at 12:30 p.m. at St. Michael Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church, 125 Steel Street, Youngstown.

Interment will follow at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.
