Obituary
GIRARD - Alan R. Groves, Jr., 36, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, Nov. 11, 2017.
Alan was born Oct. 21, 1981, in Youngstown, and was a 2000 graduate of Girard High School.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Sharon (Scott) Wolford of Washingtonville; his father, Alan Groves, Sr. of McDonald; his sister, Charity (Michael) Robertshaw of Youngstown; his son, Aidan Groves; a niece and nephew, Madelyn and Xavier Robertshaw; uncles, Thomas (Tina) Gilpin of Struthers and William (Teresa) Gilpin of Girard; and many extended family members.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 222 S. State St., Girard, where a funeral service will follow at 7 p.m.
Private interment will take place at Girard Union Cemetery.
