NORTH JACKSON - Adele Wesolowsky Hutchison, 78, formerly of Nashua Drive in Austintown, passed away peacefully early Monday morning, July 2, 2018, at her home at Antonine Village.

Adele was born Sept. 8, 1939, in Chukwa, Ukraine, a daughter of the late Rev. Peter and Sophie Kuzio Wesolowsky, and came to the United States and Youngstown with her family in 1948.

Adele was a 1958 graduate of Chaney High School, and she worked for several years for Postal Mail Sort on Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown until her retirement.

Mrs. Hutchison  was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Youngstown, where she belonged to the St. Mary Sisterhood and served as an officer on the church board.

She enjoyed crocheting afghans, which she generously donated. Adele also liked going to casinos, and in her younger years she enjoyed dancing and playing golf.

She is survived by her sister, Irene (Jay) Hustic of Austintown, and by several extended family members in Ukraine.

Adele's husband, Thomas Hutchison, whom she married in 1978, passed away in 1986. A brother, Louis Wesolowsky, is also deceased.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, July 5, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where a prayer service will take place at 5 p.m.

Funeral services will begin Friday, July 6, at 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home, and will continue at 10 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.

Adele's family thanks the sisters of Antonine Village, and the staff of Hospice of the Valley, for the kindness shown and exceptional care given to Adele and her family.
