YOUNGSTOWN - Stephanie A. Gyomber, 71, of the city’s west side, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, Aug. 12, 2018, at Briarfield Manor following a two-year illness.
Stephanie was born Sept. 20, 1946, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Steve G. and Elizabeth H. Farkas Gyomber, and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a 1964 graduate of Chaney High School. Stephanie, who worked as an administrative assistant, retired several years ago.
She enjoyed playing 500-bid with the girls in her club and with her high school friends. In her younger years, she enjoyed golfing and travel, and she always enjoyed the time spent with her family, especially her nieces and nephews.
Stephanie is survived by her brother, Steve Gyomber, and his wife, Kathy, of Orwell; two sisters, Gail Repasky, and her husband, Marty, of Canfield and Lisa Razo, and her husband, Paul, of Sylvania; nieces and nephews, Erin Gyomber, Craig Repasky, and his wife, Liz, Kelly Kubicina, and her husband, Brandon, and Elizabeth and Tim Razo; and five great-nieces and great-nephews.
Besides her parents, Stephanie was preceded in death by a nephew, Stephen L. Gyomber.
Per Stephanie’s request, there will be no calling hours or formal services.
Memorial contributions may be made in Stephanie’s name to Friends of Riverside Gardens, 123 McKinley Ave., Youngstown, OH 44509.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
