YOUNGSTOWN - Sandra Jean Carcella, 79, of the city’s Kirkmere area, passed away Saturday morning, Aug. 10, 2019, at Omni Manor following an extended illness.
Sandra, who went by “Jean,” was born Nov. 3, 1939, in Cumberland, Md., and was a daughter of the late Harold and Lona Heavener Allison. She lived in Maryland, Texas, and Virginia before coming to Youngstown with her husband in 2007.
Jean was a homemaker and also worked outside the home as a secretary for various companies.
She was a member of St. Christine Church in Youngstown.
Jean leaves her husband of 63 years, Ronald H. Carcella, whom she married June 14, 1956; two sons, Brian Scott (Kat) Carcella of Carlsbad, Calif. and Kevin Kyle (Constance) Carcella of Montgomery, Ala.; a grandson; and a brother, Harold (Colleen) Allison of Austin, Texas.
Per jean’s wishes, services were private and there were no calling hours.
Arrangements were entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
