STRUTHERS - Robert E. “Bob” Roth Jr., 66, passed away early Sunday morning, Nov. 11, 2018, at Beeghly Oaks in Boardman.
Bob was born April 1, 1952, in Youngstown, a son of the late Robert E. Sr. and Mary Lou Eldridge Roth, and spent his life in this area.
He was a 1970 graduate of Fitch High School, where he was an outstanding athlete and played basketball. He also enjoyed playing other sports outside of school, including Pony League Baseball, and he golfed in the Hynes Steel golf league. Bob also attended YSU.
He worked for Hynes Steel in Austintown for over 20 years. Bob was of the Catholic faith.
He leaves two daughters, Rebecca and Shelley; four grandchildren; two brothers, Lawrence J. (Sharon) Roth and Mark R. Roth, both of Austintown; a sister, Marilyn J. Roth of Austintown; two nieces; and two nephews.
Private services will take place at Resurrection Cemetery in Austintown.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown.
