Robert John Patzak

AUSTINTOWN - Robert John Patzak, 63, passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at his home.

Robert was born Oct. 28, 1953, in Youngstown, a son of the late Matthew and Katherine Suszczynski Patzak, and lived most of his life in the Youngstown area.

He was a graduate of Ursuline High School, attended Youngstown State University for a time, and worked for Independent Taxi in Youngstown for over 30 years.

Rob enjoyed golf, and loved watching sports and sci-fi movies.

He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Austintown.

Rob leaves his son, Robert John Jr. (Jessica) Patzak of Cumming, Ga.; two daughters, Marcie (Rich) Patzak-Vendetti of Youngstown and Heather Patzak of Austintown; a sister, Cheryl Figueroa of Austintown; and a brother, Matthew Patzak of Ormond Beach, Fla.

Family and friends may call from 10:30 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 25, at St. Joseph Church, 4545 New Road, Austintown, where a memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.

Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
