MCDONALD - Mary Kathryn “Kathy” Cupan, passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital, surrounded by her family.
Mary Kathryn was born Aug. 22, 1956, in Kinsman, a daughter of Jack and Mary Lou Perkins Daley, and came to the McDonald area in the early 1980s.
She was a 1975 graduate of Badger High School and worked in home health care.
Kathy was a member of Victory Christian Center in Coitsville.
She was a great artist and enjoyed singing in church. She also greatly enjoyed the time she spent with her family. Kathy will always be remembered for her kind and generous nature and having a big heart. She loved everyone she ever met.
Mrs. Cupan leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 37 years, Charles Cupan, whom she married Oct. 31, 1981; a daughter, Charli Marie Cupan of Hubbard; a son, Greg Alan Cupan of McDonald; her mother, Mary Lou Robinson of Kinsman; two sisters, Jean Emrick of Greenville, Pa. and Becky (Brian) Thomas of Brookfield; and four brothers, Bob (Sharon) Daley of Florida, Jim Daley of Mississippi, John (Mary) Daley of Volant, Pa., and Pete (Becky) Daley of Kinsman.
Kathy’s father, Jack Daley, preceded her in death.
Family and friends may gather from 3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, at The Village Banquet Center, 1057 Illinois Ave., McDonald, where a celebration of life service will take place at 6 p.m.
