NEWTON FALLS - Mary Ann Tomlin, 75, passed away peacefully Friday evening, Sept. 28, 2018.
Mary Ann was born March 4, 1943, in Lemont Furnace, Pa., a daughter of the late John and Martha Eskie Kundly, and lived in California and Texas before coming to this area in 2009.
She was a graduate of North Union High School in Uniontown, Pa., and worked for Bates Industries and for ABC Custom Leather in California.
Mary Ann was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Youngstown. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, making pyrohy, playing bingo, buying lottery tickets, eating Mexican food, and drinking margaritas.
Mary Ann is survived by her daughter, Alice (Steven) Lamb; three grandchildren, Wendy, Bradley “Shorty,” and Mark; a great-granddaughter, Emma Haven; two sisters, Marty ( Michael) Woloschak and Sharon (Emery) MacDonald; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, her husband, Roger Preston Tomlin, and a brother, John Kundly, are deceased.
Family and friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 1, at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery Chapel, where funeral services will take place at 2 p.m.
Arrangements were entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home in Youngstown. In lieu of flowers, Mary Ann’s family asks that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
