MCDONALD - Mary Morello Krumpak, 95, passed away peacefully Saturday evening at her home.
Mary was born in June of 1923 in McDonald, a daughter of the late Michael and Rose Bury, and was a lifelong area resident.
Mary was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in McDonald and a member of its Altar & Rosary Society.
Mrs. Krumpak greatly enjoyed the company of others along with making crafts, and walking and exercising at the Community Center.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory a son, Ray “Butch” Jr. (Jean) Morello; two “daughters,” Rose (Gary) Hinks and Mary Ann (Jeff) Sullivan; a “son,” Steve Krumpak Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Annie (Charlie) Gilchirst; a brother-in-law, Gene (Lois) Morello; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Morello-Roos; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mary will be truly and sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mary’s first husband, Ray Morello Sr., whom she married in July of 1948, passed away December of 1975. Her second husband, Steve Krumpak Sr., whom she married in November of 1979, passed away in April of 2005. Besides her husbands, a daughter, Susan Cerny, and a brother, John Bury, preceded Mary in death.
Per Mary’s request there will be no calling hours or services. She will be laid to rest at Girard Union Cemetery.
Mary’s family suggests memorial contributions be made in her name to the McDonald Senior R.E.S.T. Program, 500 Ohio Ave., McDonald, OH 44437.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 222 S. State St., in Girard.
