Mark S. McCormick

CANFIELD - Mark S. McCormick, 51, passed away peacefully Sunday, April 23, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

Mark was born March 28, 1966, in Youngstown, a son of Dennis and the late Mary Jo Patros McCormick, and lived in the Youngstown-Niles area for most of his life.

He worked at the Fairhaven Workshop in Niles, and later at Accessible Workshop in Austintown.

Mark enjoyed singing, listening to music, and going on car rides.
            
Mark leaves several extended family members, including Maria Silverman (Bill Dunn) of New York City, Linda (Michael) Italiano of Green Township, Edward (Kathy) Carrozzino of Austintown, Susan Parks of Niles, David Moore of Niles, and Alexei and Edwin Silverman of Chicago.

Private funeral services were held Friday afternoon, April 28, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown. Interment took place at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown, where Mark was laid to rest next to his mother.

A Memorial Service will take place at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 4, at The Church of Jesus Christ, 185 N. Canfield-Niles Road in Austintown, with a memorial luncheon to follow.
